The Work:

  • Assemble, test, and integrate sensemetrics (and third party) IoT products, sensors and software
  • Install components, units, cable assemblies, and printed circuit boards following specifications
  • Fabricate parts, cables, and test fixtures
  • Install components, units, cable assemblies, and printed circuit boards following specifications
  • Fulfill incoming customer orders by required delivery date
  • Define and execute the required purchases or deliverables needed for each order
  • Manage warehousing processes such as stocking, distribution and inventory control of all materials including finished goods inventory, parts, and components
  • Coordinate orders with Accounting, Customer Success and all related departments in resolving related issues to meet customer requested ship date/delivery dates
  • Document instructions for third party manufacturing of commonly produced parts
  • Customize units and make adjustments or repairs according to written or verbal specifications
  • Inspect and test all assemblies prior to shipment
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting through sensemetrics’ Support system, as needed
  • Perform analysis and troubleshooting on returned merchandise
  • Record serial numbers and test results for all assemblies
  • Maintain and write work procedures and all related documentation for each task performed
  • Assist with the training of other employees as requested
  • Other duties as required, including but not limited to: packing, shipping, receiving, cleaning, organization, and routine maintenance of workplace equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School graduate or GED
  • Experience with soldering and cable termination
  • Experience using electronic test equipment
  • Two years experience preferred in electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, or both
  • Candidates must be mechanically capable, and able to select and utilize the proper tools for each task
  • Ability to work from product drawings, written and verbal instructions
  • An aptitude and inclination for learning new skillsets quickly
  • The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working both independently and in group settings
  • Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity to determine and distinguish color and small objects
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a high attention to detail
  • Must be able to quickly understand our product offering and its capabilities
